As we close out this year, I want to thank each of you for being part of our Huddinge Basket journey. It has been a year of changes and challenges, but through it all, we have grown stronger together. Our players have developed, and our coaches have get new valuable wisdom. We continue to find strength in building Huddinge Basket into the club and organization that players and coaches love.

Let us step into the new year with hope, determination, and kindness, striving for even greater growth and development. I wish you all a new year filled with unity, progress, and success.

Good evening coaches!

Today, the 4th of Advent, which welcomes us to Christmas and the New Years holiday, and I wanted to take a moment to reflect and connect with you all.

This is a season of joy for many, we home being decorat, trees are going up, gifts are exchanged, and families come together. But I also know that for some, Christmas is not the easiest time of year. Whether it’s because of work, distance, or personal choice, we celebrating in our own unique way or not at all. I want to give my warmest thoughts to everyone, no matter how you spend this time. Remember, even a simple smile or a kind gesture can brighten someone’s day.

When I look back on the first half of the 24/25 season, I’m filled with gratitude and pride. You and your players have given your all on the court, in practices, and in games. For those who joined the leadership trip to Lithuania, it was a wonderful experience that highlighted the strength and unity of our community.

You are all role models, and I want to remind you how much of an impact you have to youth around in our club. Through your dedication and leadership, you are shaping young lives and making a difference in ways that will last far beyond the court.

Now, as we turn our eyes to 2025, Im excited for the journey ahead. Together, we will continue to grow and develop our club - Huddinge Basket, and make it a place where players, coaches, and families thrive. 

The fundamentals of basketball are the foundation for every individual player. Learning and mastering these basics make the rest and love of the game much easier! No matter what level we are at.

For those of you who were with Lithuania, my information will be repetitive, but I want to repeat some important information, so we all are on the same page.  

In the weeks leading up to Christmas, I will spend some extra time out in the halls and watch practices. My focus is to follow both your individual development as a coach and the teams progress. We have previously discussed how, through the Huddinge Basket Utvecklingstrappa, we have built a foundation over the past five years to ensure that our players develop at the right level based on their age. Now we get the chance to talk by being out on the court and feel free to get my help when Im there or contact you if you want me to come out to your team and then what you expect us to handle together. I’m here to help for both you coach and players.  

Fundamental - how do we work with it, and why is it important?

The fundamentals of basketball are the foundation for every individual play, offensive or defensive strategy, and every move that your players make. No matter what level we are at.

I would like to continue to follow up and understand how you experience the coaching, as well as share your ideas and thoughts regarding possible improvements. What strategies or techniques do you use to be effective coaches with the Huddinge Basket Utvecklingstrappa as a starting point?

The goal is that we work with the same strategies and philosophy - from our youngest to the oldest players in Huddinge Basket!

What are your thoughts on the teams dynamics and development during both practices and games. Do you work actively with the clubs values and codes of conduct? How do you plan and implement practice sessions to support team growth and development?
